FATHER TIME
“Not a Program… It’s a Movement”
Father Time, an exciting new initiative from Parents Anonymous® of New Jersey, for fathers in Cumberland and Salem County. The Father-Time project supports men as they nurture and protect their children and deepen their father-mentor/child relationship.
The Father-Time project consists of 3 components:
- Professionally facilitated peer-led community based support groups
- National Fatherhood Initiative’s Fatherhood Program 24/7 DAD AM/PM curriculum
- Father Planned Community-Wide Family Activities
Membership is open to any male in a parenting role, is free, open-ended and peer-led. The 12-wk 24/7 DADS AM/PM curriculum is offered a minimum of twice per year, with make up sessions offered throughout the year so fathers can join at anytime. The community activities are planned and executed once per quarter at each site.

National Parent Leadership month is a time to recognize, honor and celebrate parents whose words and actions have led and guided others to create positive changes for families and communities.
For 30 years, Parents Anonymous of New Jersey, Inc. has been a statewide leader in strengthening families and helping parents develop leadership skills that enable children to live in safe nurturing homes and communities.
Parent Leadership occurs when parents gain the knowledge and skills necessary to take on leadership roles to help shape the direction of families, programs and communities. In New Jersey, parents and professionals are working together in new ways to present a “parent voice” to improve systems, neighborhoods and policies. When parents are speaking and acting from the parent’s perspective rather than as staff from an organization or institution, they are Parent Leaders.
